Motorola Moto Pad 60 NEO Key Features and Specifications

Motorola describes the Moto Pad 60 Neo as only 6.9 millimetres thick and weighing around 490 grams, making it among the lightest 5G tablets in its price range, according to a company press release.

The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, coupled with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage, expandable up to 2 terabytes through a microSD card. It runs on Android 15, with Motorola pledging two major operating system upgrades and four years of security updates.

Display, Audio and Stylus Support

The Moto Pad 60 Neo is equipped with an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with 2.5K resolution (2560 × 1600 pixels) and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10 and has been designed for both entertainment and productivity use.

Motorola Moto Pad 60 NEO Battery and Connectivity

The tablet carries a 7,040 mAh battery, with support for 20-watt fast charging. Motorola says the device is suitable for all-day use in work and study settings.

Connectivity options include 5G via nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and GLONASS. The device also features an IP52 rating, offering protection against dust and minor splashes.

Motorola Moto Pad 60 NEO Pricing and Availability

The Moto Pad 60 Neo has been launched with an effective starting price of ₹12,999, inclusive of introductory bank offers, according to Motorola. The listed price without discounts is ₹17,999. The device will be sold through Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and select retail outlets.

Market Context and Competition

India’s tablet market has grown steadily, fuelled by remote education, hybrid work patterns, and increased demand for affordable 5G devices. According to International Data Corporation (IDC), shipments in India rose more than 20 percent year-on-year in 2023, with mid-range devices leading growth.

Analysts suggest Motorola’s launch is timed to capture demand ahead of the festive season. “The inclusion of a stylus and slim design could help Motorola appeal to both students and professionals,” said Anuj Sharma, a senior technology analyst at IDC India.

The device will compete with models such as Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A9+, Realme’s Pad 2, and Xiaomi’s Pad 6, all of which operate in a similar price bracket.
